This term, I’m working on an art project of mine for GCSE Art & Design. Our keyword for the project is ‘Reflections’, and we started off during the summer holidays by taking a series of photographs based on the theme (some of which I will be sharing with you soon!), and for the past couple of weeks, we’ve been thoroughly delving into the topic and exploring lots of different parts of the project.
For this term, the end result that we’re planning for with this project is an engraving or etching based on our which is essentially a piece of art scratched into something like a metal plate or a woodblock. Ink is rolled onto the piece, then it’s pressed down onto a piece of paper to reveal the finished print.
For now, though, we’re just at the planning and research stage, which starts off with the holy grail of art projects…a mind map ✨ I was busy for hours on end editing, printing out, glueing in and annotating my photographs with my various ideas, thoughts, musings and anything else that might contribute to the project. I even took the liberty of adding some little doodles around the page to make it pop. The aim was really just to make a bustling, buzzing page full of information to make a strong first impression for our portfolio - and to be honest? I think I’ve done quite well on that respect; I’m very proud of the work I’ve put into it!
I was pleased to hear the positive feedback from my art teacher as well; according to her, my use of space, arrangement and bursts of colour made the mind map a great opening piece for the portfolio. Plus, I’m really glad to see that she loved all of my photos! A great start to the project, don’t ya think?
Work in progress,

Discovering off-beaten track locations are the best😎
Still on UNESCO's tentative list, Iran's salt domes are very unique😍 No where else in the world, such cumulative of salt domes can be seen😲
Only in the southern part of the Zagros Mountains, there are more than 130 salt domes⛰️
These salt domes have various karstic morphologies including caves and waterfalls as well as also salt glaciers😁
Some islands of Persian Gulf including Hormoz Island are purely made of salt too🏝️ But the appearance is different to these ones😊
Unfortunately we only had the morning, so barely scratched the surface😖 Only if more people blogged about this place we would've stayed longer.
Oh well, next time~ ps. No blog for this in English version. Sorry 😬

Do you have a college roommate horror story?
I would like to hear your stories about terrible college roommates, if not for entertainment, at least for comparison. I'll start off. I go to a school where the students are a bit weirder than the rest of the country, and my roommate is considered weird, so that should give you an idea. As best I can describe, he was like a child, in a child's body, but with the age of someone in college. Don't get me wrong, the kid is brilliant… but he was terrible at life. I'll start the description in the way that I got to know him. He scratched, a LOT, noisily and mainly his face. He talked to himself, and not the “confirming things I need to do” kind of talk to himself, the Gollum to Sméagol talk to himself. He developed a horrendous snoring problem the week of finals. He was incredibly intolerant, as well as sexist. So if you have some good stories, share them!

或when I use to sit in the car I needed to use both sides of my hand to touch the car window. 4 times with both hands. I don’t even know why.
I know theirs a billion people will worst tragic fates than me and this is such a stupid small problem but this channel is for me to express my self.
But like biting my lips, bitinh the inside of my mouth (like this) biting other parts of my hand, picking my bitten fingernails. Scratching my eyes inner part, before my elbows I constantly scratched for no reason. It’s almost like self harm.
I used to think everyone did this at least bit their lips.
Now the reasons for this some believe is anxiety. But honestly I bite my hands when I’m either bored or thinking. I think it’s a mixture because when I upload a video and I’m writing the tags and all that I’m both thinking but also anxious because I’m nervous about the video performance. So I think for me it’s both those things.
Now a cause of
My solution: after watching this video they told me that the solution is not to stop yourself from the impulse of doing these things before that’ll only make you want to do it more. Actually it is to be conscious in that moment that you want to do this and do another action as a replacement. So what I did is I pretend I’m playing the piano every time I get this self harm impulse. Strange it when I do this my mouth still moves and if I were biting my nails or my lips and yesterday I caught myself constantly want to bite.
But over time it has gotten easier. And I think with enough effort I can stop this. Because honestly my nails are traumatized beyond belief and it’s been so long time I’ve had to cut nails because they don’t grow and is so weak. When I scratch an itch it feels weak. Like it’s gotta fall off. And it’s just...I don’t want that you know so let’s try to change it.
Thanks for letting me make this weird video bye.

New vlog where I spend another 2 days at the best beach in Vietnam!!

These were the last few days of my journey to Vietnam and seeing as I am all about those beach vibes, where better to spend my time than at Hoi An's most gorgeous beach doing some parasailing.
I don't know what it is about the sea, the ocean, all water, that just captivates me, but it is a love affair that I honestly cannot help. Any chance I have to swim in the ocean, you best be sure I'll be the first one in. So spending my last few days at the beach couldn't have been more perfect.

Started the vlog en route to the beach that sits just 10 minutes away from my aunt and uncle's house. The vlog started a little late in the day because we originally planned to travel down to Hue for the day. But when we discovered that it was 3 hour drive, we scratched that idea and decided the beach was much more worth it.
So to the beach we went! Had to run and buy a bathing suit because I didn't bring one with me from Malaysia. Then I went for an amazing swim. Surprisingly the water was so perfect. Not too cold. Not too dirty. Not too deep... Perfect.
I ended up swimming quite far out and I felt really safe the entire time. I always get a little worried of the currents and of course, whatever could be lurking in the water, but I felt very safe here.
Headed back home after that and passed out on my bed until dinner. Actually had dinner and then went straight back to sleep afterwards. Swimming in the sea will do that to you.
Picked up the vlog again on the next day with another beach day in store. Honestly, I could have stayed there the entire holiday and I would have been happy.
Headed down to the beach and after hanging out there for an hour or two, my uncle decided that he was going to "treat" me to a paragliding experience. So we harnessed ourselves in and up, up and away we went.
It was pretty wild up there. We went so high and it felt so peaceful up there. It wasn't crazy windy and the harness was very secure. The only complaint (although I should have realised this would happen before take off) was that my crotch area was under some serious pressure. I kept trying to lift my body weight so adjust myself... but of course, that's almost impossible in a harness.
So I enjoyed half an hour of almost blood loss to my privates and delicates. But it was definitely an experience.
After the water sports, I dived into the sea again and swam for about an hour. The water was so calming. I wanted to stay there for longer but the sun was beginning to go down.
We biked back home through the beautiful padi fields behind the house and then went out for dinner and that was where the vlog ended.
